BSA Patches For Daniel Webster Council -

Camp Bell/Griswold Scout Reservation

The Griswold Scout Reservation (formerly known, as Griswold Hidden Valley Scout Reservation is currently comprised of two camps, Hidden Valley and Camp Bell.

Camp Bell was established in 2000 with the support of Ernest “Tutt” Bell and through the State of New Hampshire’s Land Conservation Easement Program. The council was able to reacquire Camp Manning (which had been a private camp after DWC had sold the camp) through a land swap. DWC agreed to conserve parts of Hidden Valley from camp development and in return Camp Bell was given to the Council for use as a Scout camp. A portion of Camp Bell is protected with a conservation easement. Camp Bell is on the shores of Lake Manning and is based on the patrol method with scouts cooking as patrols and participating in a different patrol program activity each day of the week.
