Summer Camp Questions and Answers:
1. Is the troop attending Hidden Valley(HV) this summer?
No, but scouts may attend Hidden Valley as a Provisional Camper(s) during any week. At the Provisional campsite, camp counselors serve as scoutmasters for the Provisional Troop and scouts form patrols and elect troop officers on the first day.
To register for HV Provisional Camp, signup online at the Daniel Webster Council website. Depending on bookings, you may be able to register just a week before camp, but you pay full price and take your chances on space being available. Get some scouts together and register early.
2. What gift suggestions do you have for summer camp?
Pack towel - less bulky, more absorbant, quick drying. Size medium or bigger $15-30. Available from EMS, REI, Campmor
LED headlamp - Energizer Head Beam $9-15 Walmart
