Scoutmaster Weekly Update          June 9, 2008

This Tuesday Night

Summer Uniform Wear - Boy Scout Shorts and Socks (or BSA pants) and a Scout T-shirt

We will be inventorying the troop tents, cook kits and stoves.  Be sure to check at home and return any property belonging to Troop 19.

Scouts appearing for a Board of Review must be in a complete BSA Uniform

 

June Court of Honor – Tuesday Night June 17th

The program includes; Advancement Awards, Grand Canyon Slide Show and an Ice Cream Social.

 

Grand Canyon Pictures Are Still Needed

Last call for photos and sound for the troop slide show presentation is this Tuesday night.  Be sure to get them to Garry Crane - GRCrane@aol.com

High School Graduates:

Alex G. – Alex will be majoring in Business Administration at the University of New Hampshire-Manchester

Ben F. – Ben will be majoring in Business at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA

Don G. – Don will be majoring in Construction Management at Fitchburg State College

Tyler P. – Tyler will be attending Assumption College in Worcester, MA

Andrew H. – Andrew will be attending the US Naval Academy

 

And it only seems like yesterday….

 

College Graduates

Richard Ehrenman – Richie has completed his studies at Norwich University and has enlisted with the United States Army and is now traveling to Ft Lewis in Washington State for training.

Chris Hein – Chris majored in Criminal Justice at Norwich University and has enlisted with the US National Guard and is pursuing career options in the federal government and local law enforcement

Matt Griffin – Matt has graduated from Keene State College and is working for the Office of Residential Life at Keene State.

Jeff Beals has graduated from Florida Southern College with a major in Business Administration

 

Also, I received an email from Mike Goglia (T19 Eagle and Norwich University Graduate).  He is stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso Texas and has just purchased a house.  He is preparing with his battalion for a 2009 deployment to the Middle East.
