Pride Game Tonight Currently we have two adults planning to attend tonight’s game (Mr. Rich Wiik and Brian Wiik). Parents, if you are planning not to attend, please do not leave your son at the gate until he is under the care of our adult leaders or another parent that is willing to chaperone. Note—the Wiik’s will be arriving after work and should be there by 7:30 at the latest.
Iowa Tragedy
In case you did not see the journal by our Chief Scout Executive; it is very poignant and well written based on his visit to the victim’s families and Scouters.

Troop Point System Congratulations to the Rambunctious Rodents for taking first place in the Troop Point System. The Puma’s (New Scout Patrol) placed second and only one point separated the top two patrols. Given the close finish and how both patrols clearly out maneuvered and scored the other two remaining patrols, both patrols will receive prices. First place patrol will receive gift cards for Chunky’s (food and movie) and the second place patrol will receive movie passes to Cinemagic. Congratulations to our Patrol Leaders, Jeremy Sayers and Dillon Wright for leading their patrols to an outstanding finish! They will coordinate a time for their patrols to attend.
White Mountains Backpacking Trip If you are looking for something fun and challenging this summer, please consider the August Backpacking Trip, the weekend of August 8-10. Hike groups will be planning their own trips within the White Mountains National Forest. For older scouts, this is an opportunity to complete requirements for the hiking, camping, and backpacking merit badges. For younger scouts, this is an introduction to backpacking and backwoods cooking. If you or your son is interested in this trip, please contact Mr. Popik at tpopik@geosegment.com or (603) 880-5457. Warning: This trip is not car camping—no coolers, generators, and propane stoves allowed. Adventure is mandatory. |
